Why would you want a virtual donkey pen-pal?
  • You want to learn more about farm animals and farm life.
  • You have always wanted to live on a farm.
  • Your space is limited for raising a farm animal (condos and apartments are a little too cramped for a 250 pound
    donkey).
  • You are not home every day to care for a donkey.
  • You have always wanted to work with animals but life never led you in that direction.
  • Your neighbors are not "animal people" and don't want you to be!
  • You just don't have enough time.
  • Your family thinks a virtual donkey pen-pal is a brilliant idea -- your brilliant idea!
  • Someone else feeds your virtual donkey pen-pal twice daily, worms her every 6 weeks, and trims her hooves every
    8 weeks -- no matter what the weather is like. She may be virtual to you, but she is reality to us.

  • May I visit the farm to see my donkey?  
Absolutely! Just call or email to set up an appointment.

  • If my donkey does not become pregnant, may I adopt another?  
Yes, we will be happy to do that since the birth of a foal is very special to many folks.

  • Am I obligated in any way for the cost of care for my virtually-adopted donkey?
No. We take care of all our donkeys, virtually-adopted or not.

  • Really, why would I want to virtually-adopt a donkey?
To learn more about the miniature donkey breed and how wonderful they are.  And it's fun! It' like being on the farm but
without the boots.
